I'm seriously thinking about closing down my Blog.......There are SO few comments that I think no one cares or reads anymore............
"
I also got a "Punch in the Gut" today, which is making me re-think a lot of what I've been doing/making.

If I decide to close this blog down,,it'll make me sad, but I'll always Love all of you and hold you close to my heart. You can still follow me on Facebook (Shelly Rollins) or on Pinterest. And at THIS point, I'll still keep my Etsy site going.

I'm going to give this a day or two before I decide what I'm going to do/persue,,,I'm not "OUT",,,,,but maybe I need to make some life Changes!!

Hugs, Love and a  "Tearful Bus" Because I have So loved getting to know you all,,,and how can I NOT do this anymore???

  1. Getting people to comment is almost next to impossible anymore. I read a lot of great blogs out there, including yours, but I don't always leave a comment. It doesn't, however, mean that I didn't leave feeling inspired or that I didn't enjoy looking at pretty things. It just means that I didn't take that quick few secs to write down something nice that would mean the world to someone else. Thanks for opening up my eyes, and please keep your blog going. It is enjoyed by many..You can count on it! Hugs, Denise Cosgrove

  4. Shell, you are such an inspiration. 445 follers on Pinterest...and sometimes you Pin from ME? It makes my day. I do try and comment as I was gone from FB for over 6 months having a Brain Operation; hardly anyone noticed. Then you're back on FB and get a zillion Happy Birthdays. It makes you put things into perspective. FB is a social network, not my real friends. You are a very REAL friend to many and I feel blessed to become reaquainted with you. From 3rd grade to now. We are more than Vintage. LOL, I have a big smile. You are a blessing, consider the source; then reconsider the source. Your friend, carla marie

  6. I agree with issayyallz, I read A LOT of blogs -- have you on my Google Reader. Please don't stop sharing. Just because people are not commenting does not mean they are not reading. I read at night before going to bed to relax and go to bed with inspiration teeming in my head. Lots of time I just want to click "like" to show my appreciation :) I think I am just lazy. Wish they would find a way to combine blogging and Facebook more efficiently. Hope all is well with you otherwis

I've left a few comments here but you never reply back to me or comment back about what i might say.....thats discouraging as i do like a two way conversation......but thats just me...i'm sure to others who leave comments they don't expect a reply back.....i don't really expect it but it is nice and its something that will keep me commenting.....Sure hope you don't give up . I so enjoy visiting your blog and seeing what your up to....Your crafting style is not mine but that is neither here nor there...i enjoy stopping by for a visit with my coffee and seeing what your up to...the fleamarkets sales you've visited and what you find...you always find waaay better deals than i do. 13. Oh Shell, I love your blog and I'm guilty - I don't always comment. Sometimes I barely have time to read anymore. Between a project at work that has me working about 60 hrs a week thru the end of the year, and trying to "take care" of my 88 year old step-father with dementia who lives alone 3 hours away - sometimes I just don't have the luxury of time. I understand how you feel though - I haven't even posted on my blog in at least a month. I keep thinking about it but you are right - when you only get one or two comments - you feel like why bother. I'll miss you though - I'm just terrible at Facebook. Big hugs!

  14. I often -- too often -- read but don't leave comments. I like to know what my blog buddies are doing, but the days run away from me. Actually I am better at facebook -- can do posts there from my phone -- and I will happily keep up with you there. Keeping up a blog is tough, but your is lovely and I would sorely miss it. Hugs and more hugs!

  15. Shell honey just like all your other friends I would really be sad to see you not keep your blog going.
I too love seeing your beautiful creations and hearing about how your doing.
So many of us here lately are quitting or seriously thinking of quitting. I too have thought of it a lot. Mainly because I can't give it the time it takes to write good post and to visit my friends. There are not enough hours in the day.
Please take your time deciding like me and hopefully we will both not quit.
I actually came by to wish you a Happy Birthday Dear Sweet friend.
    Love
    Maggie

  17. Hi Shell!
I read your blog posts and love your blog. I don't often leave a comment. You are a joy and an inspiration to us all. Don't let a bad apple spoil the barrel. Keep up the good work! Hugs

  18. Shell- I don't know what happened- what someone said or did to hurt your feelings--- but let me at em!! Shell we all love you- admire you-- and go crazy silly over every beautiful thing you make. You need to do what makes you happy-- but I sure wish you would stay.

Have you ever checked your blog stats? My guess is that you would be shocked to discover how many people visit your blog every day--- but don't leave comments. Think about that--

    Vicki
